The Older Adult Behavioral Health Network offers a systematic approach to diagnosing and treating memory loss. Memory loss is only a symptom that has many etiologies including Alzheimer's disease, vascular dementia, cardiovascular disease and psychosocial conditions. Our interdisciplinary team of physicians includes neuropsychiatrists, neurologists, neuropsychologists, advanced practice nurse and social workers that work together to diagnose each patient's memory loss and develop a customized treatment plan.
Once a diagnosis is identified physicians use an evidence-based diagnostic tree to determine the most appropriate treatment in order to ensure the patient is on the right path. Our cognitive rehabilitation specialists help patients experience memory function improvements with computerized cognitive rehabilitation tools, medications and the memory fitness program.
