When patients followed by The Older Adult Program need brief hospitalization to stabilize their medications or reach a more comprehensive diagnosis, they are referred to an inpatient unit either at Advocate Christ Medical Center or Ingalls Memorial Hospital where one of our psychiatrists will follow them. This will be done in coordination with primary care physicians and family caregivers.
